Andréa Davis-Cleary is Senior Counsel at Alvarez, Thompson, & Smoak, P.A. She has extensive knowledge and experience in General Insurance defense with a primary focus on Premises Liability and Auto Negligence.

Ms. Davis-Cleary graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a B.A in English. She later earned her J.D. at Pace University School of Law. Andréa acquired a passion for teaching from the long line of educators in her family which led to her pursuing a second Doctorate in Management and Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.

Before practicing law, Ms. Davis-Cleary worked in fast-paced Manhattan as an account manager for Bell Atlantic and Dun & Bradstreet.

Throughout her legal career, Ms. Davis-Cleary simultaneously developed and delivered legal courses both online and via classroom at the University of Central Florida, Valencia College, Everest University, and the University of Phoenix. Throughout Andréa’s extensive career, she has worked exclusively in the defense arena. Ms. Davis-Cleary now employs her skillset to zealously represent her clients at Alvarez, Thompson & Smoak, P.A..

Ms. Davis-Cleary grew up in New York City and currently resides in Orlando with husband, George and son, Nathaneal. They are avid fans of all New York teams. Ms. Davis-Cleary enjoys playing competitive tennis or doing challenging crossword puzzles. She loves the Lord and lives her life like it is golden.
