Jeff Thompson has been representing clients in Florida’s courts for close to 30 years. As a partner at Alvarez, Thompson & Smoak, P.A., Jeff specializes in complex civil litigation cases involving commercial transportation defense, business litigation, first-party property insurance defense/homeowners claims, community association disputes, construction defect, health care and premises liability claims, as well as all cases involving all aspects of personal injury and wrongful death. A part of his practice also includes the representation of licensed professionals in administrative proceedings filed against them.
A strong background in public speaking has led many organizations to request Jeff as a speaker. He is often asked to speak on a variety of issues, such as tort reform, liability trends and legislative and regulatory implications in Florida.
