Adam J. Pamel is an associate with Alvarez, Thompson & Smoak, P.A. He has focused his practice on complex civil litigation cases, involving personal injury, wrongful death and general insurance defense, with a focus on commercial transportation defense and commercial premises litigation.
Adam received his Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University in 2008, as well as his commission as an Officer in the United States Army. During his service with the Army, Adam was stationed in numerous overseas postings including: Germany, Korea, and Afghanistan. Adam served in the United States Army until 2016, where after, he received his Juris Doctorate and Master of Laws from the University of Alabama in 2020. While in law school, Adam served as the Veterans’ Legal Assistance Fellow and participated in the Elder Law Clinic.
Before joining Alvarez, Thompson, & Smoak, P.A., Adam worked for the State Attorney’s office in the 9th Judicial Circuit as an Assistant State Attorney (ASA). As an Assistant State Attorney, Adam first chaired several misdemeanor jury trials, as well as served as first and second chair in felony trials. Adam left the State Attorney’s Office and accepted a position with Alvarez, Thompson, & Smoak, P.A. where he continues his career as a litigator. Adam has brought the insight he garnered over to the civil side to aggressively defend our clients.
Adam is originally from Dryden, New York and has resided in Florida since 2020. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, and his dog, Scout.
